After graduating in 2015 from the art academy in Rotterdam in Lifestyle & Design, Jorien worked at several design studios specialising in interior design and branding.
In 2020, she started working independently on projects within retail, interior and hospitality. FORT Studio was launched in 2026 as a dedicated design studio with a clear focus on commissioned work.
